Refund policy

At Hawa Mahal, we take great care to ensure the highest quality in our products. As a result, we do not accept returns or exchanges except in the case of a manufacturing defect.

Exchange Policy

We understand that human errors can occur. If you receive a product with a manufacturing defect, you may request an exchange within 24 hours of delivery by following the steps outlined below:

Eligibility for Exchange:

  • The defect must be captured in an unboxing video for verification.
  • The product must be unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging with tags and labels intact.
  • Exchanges are not applicable for design, print, or style preferences.
  • We do not provide pickup services. Customers must ship the product back to us and inform our team once done.
  • Altered/customized products, international orders, and purchases made during sales or promotional offers are not eligible for exchange.
  • Products purchased through third-party retailers must be exchanged directly with them.

Exchange Process

If your purchase qualifies for an exchange:

  1. Contact us at info@hawamahalstore.com within 24 hours of delivery. Our team will review your request and respond within 2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays).
  2. Package the product with its invoice, tags, labels, and original packaging.
  3. Ship the product to our studio address as provided by our customer care team, along with:
    • Customer’s name and address
    • Order number
  4. Once received, the product will undergo a quality check. If approved, a replacement will be dispatched within 7 business days. If an identical replacement is unavailable, a product of equal or greater value will be offered.

Important Notes:

  • We are not responsible for incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided by customers.
  • No exchanges will be processed if the order has two failed delivery attempts or if the package is refused at delivery.
  • If the package is damaged upon delivery, please decline acceptance and mark it as "Damaged Package" on the receipt.

Unforeseen Charges:
Any additional charges beyond our control (such as customs duties or local taxes) must be borne by the customer. Failure to pay these charges will result in the order being returned to our studio, and it will not be eligible for exchange or refund.

Cancellation Policy

  • Orders cannot be canceled or modified once placed.
  • Hawa Mahal reserves the right to cancel an order if necessary, under certain circumstances. In such cases, any eligible refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days.
